Intelligent Decisions, Inc., Opens Dayton Office as Part of New Strategic Relationship With Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

Dayton, OH (PRWEB) January 26, 2012

Intelligent Decisions (ID), Inc., a premier global IT systems integrator, announced today that the U.S. Air Force has awarded the company a key Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract – with a potential final value of $ 950 million over five years – under the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) Aeronautical Systems Center’s Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services (ACCESS) Program. ID has opened an office in Dayton, OH, near the AFB as part of this new relationship. The contract is likely to result in the creation of hundreds of jobs for area workers, which will range from engineering to administrative positions. ID’s recruiting efforts are already underway and include outreach to Ohio universities and community colleges for potential job candidates.

The ACCESS contract is designed to provide advisory and assistance services (A&AS) to support the accomplishment of the goals, objectives and priorities associated with the missions of the organizations at Wright-Patterson AFB, including but not limited to the Air Force Materiel Command, the Aeronautical Systems Center, the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

“Intelligent Decisions is excited about this new strategic relationship and is focused on providing Wright-Patterson Air Force Base with superior, cost-effective services,” said Harry Martin, president and CEO of Intelligent Decisions. “We are also looking forward to becoming a formal part of the community and to building a strong team of talented professionals to support the ACCESS Program.”

Specifically, the contract will provide assistance at Wright-Patterson AFB in the form of management and professional support services; studies, analyses and evaluations; and engineering and technical services. ACCESS is a multiple award IDIQ contract awarded to 19 firms. Each task order will be awarded on a competitive basis.

ID will be partnering with the following companies to deliver A&AS in support of the ACCESS Program: Belcan; Computers Universal, Inc.; Copper River Information Technology, LLC; Farfield Systems, Inc.; inode ink; Omega Security International; Solidus; Tatitlek Corporation; TechOpps, Inc.; and TSymmetry. It is important to note that BelCan and Computers Universal, Inc., are both local companies in the Dayton area.
